HolterGateway™ System

Cardiocore leads the industry in application of Holter (continuous ECG) technology. Cardiocore was the first core lab to deploy 12-Lead digital Holters in a clinical trial, the first to use high-fidelity Holters in a Thorough QT study, and the only core lab to offer the HolterGateway.

The HolterGateway helps sponsors eliminate the inherent risks in the transmission of Holter data. Typically, Holter devices record the clinical source data onto compact flashcards. Without the HolterGateway, investigative sites must send the source data flashcards to the core lab by courier, placing vital clinical data at risk of delay, damage or destruction in the public mail stream.

When collaborating with Cardiocore, sponsors have a compliant, safer, and more efficient alternative. The HolterGateway enables investigative sites to transmit Holter data to Cardiocore via secure internet connection. A biometric fingerprint scanner controls access to clinical data, and high level encryption provides data security during transfer. A user-friendly, touch screen interface enables site personnel to scan and select preloaded patient metadata, reducing the potential for demographic errors and site queries.

The HolterGateway is a validated system that has flawlessly transferred terabytes of Holter data in scores of Thorough QT and other studies. More than 40 instances of the HolterGateway have been installed and operated at investigative sites including many of the world’s leading clinical pharmacology units.
