Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator has responsibility for programming and testing ECG and Holter equipment and shipping this equipment globally. Additional responsibilities include, processing equipment returns, and repairs as well as updating daily schedules and logs. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator interacts with Project Management and Information Technology groups as well as study site personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for following the procedures described in the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents (WID) related to role specific tasks.
- Work closely with Study Management and Operations group as part of the Customer Support team.
- Documentation preparation (including all courier paperwork in regard to domestic and international shipments), equipment configuration and QC of ECG equipment to be sent to sites.
- Preparation and shipment of re-supply orders from customer sites.
- Coordination of recall of equipment at study close.
- Replacement of faulty equipment at customer sites and repair of units when returned, working closely with the manufacturer to ensure efficient and timely handling of repairs and upgrades.
- Receipt of ECG equipment and supplies from sites and/or vendors, including QC checks on incoming shipments and updating all logs relevant to the move.
- Tracking of all site shipments and logging of signed packing slips from sites.
- Maintain all logs, files and reports in relation to equipment shipments and receipts.
- Management of shipping supply inventory.
- Daily management of shipment forecast.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by department manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum three years of shipping/receiving and/or customer support experience desirable
- Pharmaceutical and Clinical trials experience a plus.
Education:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
