Jay Cecil
Director
Mr. Cecil is a Managing Director at Caxton Advantage Venture Partners, and serves as a Director of Cardiocore to represent CHLS LLC’s investment in the company. Previously, he was a Vice President in the Life Sciences Investment Banking Group at Piper Jaffray and served within the Health Care Investment Banking Group at Montgomery Securities. Mr. Cecil obtained a masters degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also obtained a masters of science in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelors degree in economics from Lehigh University.
Thomas Cooper, MD
Director
Dr. Cooper is a General Partner at Aperture Venture Partners, LLC. He founded Spectrum Emergency Care, Correctional Medical Services, Vericare, and MobilexUSA. These companies have generated combined revenues of over $1 billion, serve over five thousand facilities in all 50 states and reach more than four million patients. Dr. Cooper is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School. He received his MD from Indiana University and a bachelor of arts degree from DePauw University.
Jennifer Cotteleer
Director
Ms. Cotteleer, Cardiocore’s CEO, has a vast experience in developing innovative business strategies, high-performing organizations and advanced technologies. Prior to joining Cardiocore, Ms. Cotteleer was Chief Operating Officer at PharmaPros Corporation, and Vice President of Services, IT and Support at Phase Forward. Ms. Cotteleer received a BS in symbolic systems and an MS in engineering-economic systems from Stanford University and an MSc in Management from the London Business School.
John Krasznekewicz
Director
Mr. Krasznekewicz is the founder and Managing Partner of Rustic Partners, Inc., a financial consulting and investment firm that assists client organizations with financial, structural, operating and investment alternatives. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, he also has held senior management positions at Goldman Sachs and Montgomery Securities and serves on the IXI board.
Arthur Rodbell
Director
Mr. Rodbell has an extensive background in developing and growing companies in several vertical markets, including clinical research. Prior to co-founding IXI Corporation – a leading market analytics company – in 1993, Mr. Rodbell was Chief Operating Officer of National Clinical Research Centers, a nation-wide, multi-center CRO, acquired in 1992 by Roberts Pharmaceuticals.
Lawrence Satin, MD, FACC
Director
Dr. Satin, Cardiocore’s CMO and Founder, is one of the world’s leading research cardiologists in cardiac safety testing for clinical trials. As an industry pioneer, in 1992, he founded one of the world’s first cardiac core labs. A board certified cardiologist and fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Satin received his MD from the University of Chicago School of Medicine and completed his residency at New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital.
Shiv Tasker
Director
Mr. Tasker is the Managing Director of T2 Equity Partners. He previously was the CEO of Bluespec and the president and CEO at Phase Forward, a software and service solution vendor for the data collection and management of clinical trials of new drugs and devices. Prior to Phase Forward, Mr. Tasker was Sr. Vice President for Worldwide Sales, Services and Marketing at Viewlogic Systems Inc. and a senior manager at Cadence Design Systems.
